Elevating Employee Rewards: Delta Uplift Digital Experience

I contributed to the development and continuous evolution of Uplift, Delta Airlines’ internal employee rewards program, which incentivizes agents to promote the Delta Amex SkyMiles Credit Cards in exchange for redeemable rewards, including cash bonuses.

One of my key initiatives was the design and development of a streamlined webpage that effectively highlights new and evolving Uplift initiatives for 2024. This clean, user-friendly page features three strategic sections—What’s New, What’s Changing, and Coming Soon—providing agents with clear, concise, and up-to-date information. Within these sections, we spotlighted key initiatives such as the Premium Mix, TeamUP, updated print materials, and the Blue Card. This approach ensured agents stayed informed and motivated to engage with the program’s latest offerings.

I also redesigned the Premium Mix page to elevate the overall experience and showcase the program’s exclusivity. By integrating a blend of Card colors with an upscale gray palette for the copy, I crafted a sophisticated visual identity that reflects the premium nature of the program. Additionally, I designed charts and graphs that easily visualize each agent’s Card breakdown, empowering them to understand their performance at a glance.

Beyond these digital initiatives, I contributed to the design and execution of multiple promotional projects, including a $100 limited-time holiday offer campaign, the Station of the Year logo, and a commemorative t-shirt. Each of these required me to blend web design, graphic design, copywriting, and—most importantly—digital experience design to ensure that the program remained accessible, engaging, and on-brand.

One of the most impactful results of this work was the success of the redesigned Premium Mix page, which helped 977 agents reach the 25% threshold goal for 2024. This success demonstrated the power of a thoughtful, experience-driven design approach in supporting agent performance and program engagement.

Through these efforts, I ensured that every touchpoint—from the webpage to promotional materials—delivered a cohesive, elevated experience that aligned with Delta’s brand while driving tangible results for the Uplift program.
